# Huawei HG8145V5 WiFi Setup Guide
Step 1: Connect to the Device
- Connect your computer to the Huawei HG8145V5 using an Ethernet cable or connect to its default WiFi network if available.
Step 2: Access the Admin Panel
- Open a web browser.
- Enter the default IP address: [192.168.100.1](file:///ips/192-168-100-1) (which is the standard gateway for Huawei ONTs).
- Log in using the default credentials.

For full wireless control and WAN setups, log in using
telecomadmin. Standard logins may block access to VLAN and WAN configurations.
Step 3: Configure Wireless Settings
- Navigate to WLAN -> WLAN Configuration in the top menu.
- Enable the Wireless option for 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
- Configure the following settings:

SSID Name: Enter your desired WiFi network name.

WPA2/WPA3-PSK hybrid.

Pre-Shared Key: Enter your secure WiFi password.
