# Huawei HG8145V5 Factory Reset Guide
Step 1: Locate Reset Button
- Find the Reset button on the back of the Huawei HG8145V5 device.
Step 2: Perform the Reset
- Using a pin or paperclip, press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds (until the power LED starts blinking).
Step 3: Wait for Restart
- Release the button and wait for the device to reboot. This may take up to 2 minutes.
Step 4: Access Admin Panel
- Once reset, the default IP will be
192.168.100.1.
- Use default credentials to log in:

Username: root -
Password: admin (or ISP provided passwords).
*Note: Factory reset will revert all settings to factory defaults. Backup important configurations beforehand.*
