# TP-Link AX50 WiFi Setup Guide

Access Admin Panel

1. Connect to the Router: Connect your computer or smartphone to the TP-Link AX50 network (default SSID is usually 'TP-Link_XXXX').

1. Open Web Browser: Enter http://192.168.0.1 or http://tplinkwifi.net in the address bar.

1. Login: Use the default admin credentials:

- Username: admin
- Password: admin

Configure WiFi Settings

1. Navigate to Wireless Settings: Go to the Basic -> Wireless menu.

1. Set SSID: Under the Wireless Network Name (SSID) section, enter your desired network name.

1. Select Security Type: For Wireless Security, select WPA2-PSK and ensure WPA/WPA2 Mixed is checked.

1. Create Password: In the Wireless Password field, enter a strong password.

1. Save Settings: Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Additional Configurations

1. Change Frequency: If using dual-band, navigate to Wireless -> Wireless Settings, select either 2.4GHz or 5GHz, and repeat SSID and Password setup for each band.

1. Channel Selection: Under Wireless Settings, choose a channel from the drop-down to reduce interference (typically auto is less optimal, consider 1, 6, or 11 for 2.4GHz).

1. Enable Network Mode: Make sure to select Mixed under the Wireless Mode to allow various devices to connect.

Final Steps

1. Reboot Router: After configuration, at the top right corner, you can choose System Tools -> Reboot to apply the changes.

1. Connect with New Credentials: Disconnect and reconnect your device to the new SSID using the newly set password.
