Power On Router: Ensure the TP-Link AX50 is plugged into a power source and powered on.
Find Reset Button: Locate the Reset button on the back of the router (it’s usually a small, recessed button).
Perform Factory Reset
Press and Hold: Using a paperclip or similar tool, press and hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds until the LED lights start blinking.
Release the Button: Release the button; the router will begin the reset process. Wait for the router to reboot, which may take a few minutes.
Access Default Settings
Reconnect to Default Network: After rebooting, reconnect to the default TP-Link network (SSID is usually 'TP-Link_XXXX').
Login to Admin Panel: Open a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.0.1 or http://tplinkwifi.net. Log in using default credentials:
- Username: admin - Password: admin
Important Note
All configurations will be lost: This process will reset all settings including WiFi name, password, and other configurations to default. Make sure to back up any important settings before proceeding.
