# TP-Link Archer C6 WiFi Setup Guide
Step 1: Connect to the Router
- Connect your computer or device to the TP-Link Archer C6 using an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
- If using Wi-Fi, search for the network named
TP-LINK_XXXX (XXXX is a unique number).
Step 2: Access the Admin Panel
- Open a web browser.
- Enter
http://tplinkwifi.net or 192.168.0.1 in the address bar.
- Log in:

Note: If credentials have been changed and lost, a factory reset is needed.
Step 3: Start the Wireless Setup
- Click on Basic > Wireless.
- Under the Wireless Settings section:

Wireless Network Name (SSID): Change to your desired network name.

Region: Select your country/region from the dropdown menu.

Channel: Choose a channel (typically, Auto works well).

Channel Width: Keep it at
20/40MHz.
- Enable Wireless Radio: Ensure it is checked.
Step 4: Set Security and Password
- Scroll down to Wireless Security.
- Select WPA/WPA2-Personal for security.
- Set a strong password for your Wi-Fi network in the WPA Passphrase field.
- Click Save to apply the settings.
Step 5: Connect Devices
- Use the new SSID to connect devices over Wi-Fi using the chosen password.
