# Tenda AC6 Factory Reset Procedure
If you need to reset your Tenda AC6 router to factory settings, follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the Reset Button

1. Locate the Reset button on the back of the router.

1. Use a paperclip or a pin to press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds.

1. Release the button and wait for the router to reboot.

1. The router is now reset to factory settings, and the admin IP, username, and password will revert to the defaults.

Method 2: Reset via the Admin Interface

1. Log in to the router's admin interface using the steps outlined in the WiFi Setup Guide.

1. Go to System Tools > Factory Default.

1. Click on the Restore button to reset the router to factory settings.

1. After the reset, the router will restart and revert to the default settings.
