# Netgear Nighthawk RS700S WiFi Setup Guide

This guide will help you set up your Netgear Nighthawk RS700S router and resolve common issues.

Step 1: Hardware Setup

1. Unbox your Router: Remove the Nighthawk RS700S from its packaging along with the power adapter and Ethernet cable.

1. Connect to Power: Plug the power adapter into an outlet and connect it to the router's power port.

1. Connect to Modem: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the WAN port of the router and the other end to your modem.
