# Netgear RAX50 Factory Reset Guide

  1. Locate the Reset Button

- Find the Reset button on the back of your RAX50 router.

  1. Perform the Reset

- Use a paperclip or pin to press and hold the Reset button for about 7 seconds, until you see the power LED start to blink.
- Release the button. The router will begin the reset process, which may take a few minutes.

  1. Reconfigure the Router

- After the router has rebooted, it will return to factory settings.
- Reconnect to the default WiFi SSID.
- Access the admin panel again at http://www.routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 and log in with the default credentials (admin/password).
- Follow the WiFi setup guide to configure your settings.
