# D-Link DIR-825 WiFi Setup Guide

Step 1: Connect to the Router

1. Connect your computer to the router using an Ethernet cable or connect via WiFi (default SSID: D-Link).

1. Open a web browser.

Step 2: Access the Admin Panel

1. Type http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar and press Enter.

1. Log in with the default credentials:

- Username: admin
- Password: admin
> *Note: If these credentials have been changed, use the updated ones or perform a factory reset.*

Step 3: Setup WiFi Network

1. Navigate to Setup > Wireless Settings.

1. Configure the following settings:

- Wireless Network Name (SSID): Change the SSID to your desired name.
- Wireless Mode: Select the mode (e.g., N, G, B) based on your devices.
- Channel Width: Select 20/40 MHz for better performance.
- Security Mode: Choose WPA2-PSK for best security.
- Wireless Password: Set a strong password.

1. Click Save to apply the settings.

Step 4: Finish Setup

1. Return to the Basic Settings or Advanced Settings if additional configurations are needed (e.g., DHCP settings, port forwarding).

1. Reboot the router for the settings to take effect if prompted.
