# ASUS RT-AX55 Factory Reset Guide

1. Locate the Reset Button

- Find the physical reset button on the back of the router.

1. Perform the Reset

- Ensure the router is powered on.
- Press and hold the Reset button for approximately 10 seconds using a paperclip or similar tool.
- Release the button when the power LED starts blinking.

1. Wait for Reboot

- Allow the router to reboot completely.
- This may take about 1 to 2 minutes.

1. Access the Admin Panel

- After the router has rebooted, open a web browser.
- Enter the default IP address: 192.168.1.1 or http://router.asus.com.
- Use the default login credentials (Username: admin, Password: admin).

1. Reconfigure Settings

- After the reset, all custom settings will be erased, and you will need to reconfigure the router as desired.
