What does a solid red light on my Linksys Velop node mean?

A solid red LED on a Linksys Velop node indicates a total loss of internet connectivity. If it is the primary parent node connected to your modem, check that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to the WAN port and power-cycle your modem. If it is a secondary satellite node, a solid red light means it has lost connection to the parent node. Move the node closer to the parent node, remove metal obstructions, or connect the nodes via a wired Ethernet backhaul cable to restore the link.
